Zulkefli Muhammad serves as the Head of Facility at EcoOils, a key division of the Kewalram Chanrai Group, where he leverages his extensive engineering expertise to drive operational excellence in palm oil processing. With a robust background as a 1st Grade Steam Engineer and a 1st Grade ICE Engineer, Zulkefli has honed his skills in managing complex systems, including water tube and combi boilers with capacities ranging from 12 tph to 45 tph, as well as overseeing diesel generators and turbines ranging from 800 kW to 2 MW. His leadership is pivotal in optimizing the performance of palm oil mills, successfully managing operations that scale from 40 tph to 150 tph.
Since joining EcoOils, Zulkefli has spearheaded significant projects at multiple facilities, including the Lahad Datu Facility, which has been operational since 2021, and the Pasir Gudang and Nilai facilities launched in 2020 and 2019, respectively. His expertise in commissioning, mechanical engineering, and process engineering has been instrumental in achieving ISO certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, as well as ISCC compliance, ensuring that EcoOils meets the highest standards of quality and sustainability in palm oil production.
Beyond his technical acumen, Zulkefli is an active member of Toastmasters International, where he cultivates his communication skills, enhancing his ability to lead diverse teams and engage stakeholders effectively. His commitment to continuous improvement and service to humanity reflects his holistic approach to leadership, making him a valuable asset in the palm oil industry.
