Zakarya Hiba is a seasoned professional with over 23 years of management and leadership experience in the Oil & Gas sector, currently serving as the Asset Integrity Group Leader at Saudi Aramco. His extensive background spans various facets of the industry, including refinery operations, petrochemical processes, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects. Zakarya has played a pivotal role in establishing and leading the first Asset Integrity organization at the Jazan Refinery Complex since June 2015, where he has been instrumental in developing and implementing comprehensive asset integrity strategies that ensure the reliability and safety of both static and rotating equipment.
In his current role, Zakarya oversees the Asset Integrity Plan, managing workflows and coordinating efforts across multiple engineering disciplines, including inspection, technical support, and training and development. His expertise encompasses a broad range of critical areas such as performance improvement, engineering procurement construction (EPC), and materials management, with a specific focus on essential equipment like pumps, heat exchangers, boilers, and pressure vessels. By leveraging his deep understanding of asset integrity principles and best practices, Zakarya has successfully driven initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks associated with equipment failure.
