Todd Mitch serves as the Vice President of Manufacturing at Banner Metals Group, where he leverages his extensive experience in the automotive and aerospace industries to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement. With a robust background as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Todd is adept at implementing methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, and 5S to enhance efficiency and reduce waste across various manufacturing processes. His leadership extends to managing critical departments, including Quality, Production, Purchasing, Production Planning, Tool Room, Maintenance, Safety, and Shipping & Receiving, ensuring that all facets of operations align with the company’s strategic objectives.
In his role, Todd acts as the AS9100 Management Representative, overseeing compliance with stringent aerospace standards and ensuring that Banner Metals Group maintains its reputation for quality and reliability. He is also responsible for the company’s business excellence initiatives, focusing on key performance indicators such as Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), Parts Per Million (PPM), Inventory Turns, On-Time Delivery (OTD), and Direct Labor Hours. His strategic oversight of plant budgeting and resource allocation has been instrumental in optimizing operational performance and driving profitability.
