Tayeb Bouamama serves as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) at Rezolute, Inc., where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the company’s biopharmaceutical initiatives, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. With over 20 years of extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical sector, Tayeb brings a wealth of knowledge in drug substance technology transfer, focusing on both upstream and downstream processes. His expertise encompasses critical areas such as working cell line development, media stability, seed train optimization, and the intricacies of production bioreactor operations, alongside advanced downstream purification techniques including Affinity, Viral Inactivation (VI), Cation Exchange (CEX), Anion Exchange (AEX), Virus Filtration (VF), Ultra-Filtration/Depth Filtration (UFDF), and final fill processes.
In his current role, Tayeb is instrumental in managing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organizations (CDMOs), ensuring seamless technology transfer for biologic products.
