Steven Halion is a dedicated Primary School Teacher and Year Head at Willow Park Junior School, where he has made a significant impact over his ten-year teaching career in Dublin, Ireland. With a robust background in classroom management and educational leadership, Steven has spent eight years in various management roles, demonstrating his commitment to fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. His teaching philosophy centers around active, child-led learning, which he believes is essential for nurturing creativity and critical thinking in young learners.
Currently, Steven teaches 2nd Class and serves as the Junior End Dean, overseeing the educational and pastoral care of students from Infants to 2nd Class. His role involves not only curricular planning and curriculum development but also mentoring fellow educators to enhance their teaching practices. Steven’s passion for Drama and the Performing Arts shines through in his role as a Speech & Drama Teacher, where he cultivates students' confidence and public speaking skills, preparing them for future challenges.
