Steven Ballenger serves as the Information Technology Systems Specialist, Senior at the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences, where he leverages over 25 years of extensive experience in enterprise-level technologies to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization. In his current role, Steven is instrumental as the CODIS Project Manager, overseeing the implementation and management of the Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) for the State of Alabama. His expertise as a Network Engineer and Administrator ensures that the CODIS network operates seamlessly, enabling law enforcement agencies to access critical forensic data for criminal investigations.
In addition to his work with CODIS, Steven also spearheads the TRACKER Project, serving as the Project Manager and Network Administrator.
