Stacy Morgan serves as the Executive Director of the Mental Health Transformation Alliance, where she leverages her extensive experience as a consumer supporter and advocate to drive meaningful change in mental health services. With over 20 years of involvement in the planning, development, and implementation of services for diverse populations, Stacy brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective shaped by her personal experiences as a parent of an adoptive child and kinship caretaker of a teen with early trauma. This firsthand insight allows her to navigate the complexities of the mental healthcare and educational systems effectively, ensuring that the voices of families and youth are prioritized in all initiatives.
In her current role, Stacy coordinates the Authentic Voices National Center of Excellence, a pivotal project aimed at amplifying the perspectives of those with lived experiences in mental health. She excels in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with national, state, and community organizations, fostering collaboration that enhances service delivery and support systems. Under her leadership, the family-run organization is expanding its capacity to train family members, youth, and cross-system peer support providers, addressing critical gaps in training and resources. Stacy's expertise in non-profit program development, grant writing, and community partnership development is instrumental in driving the Alliance's mission forward. Her commitment to leadership development and relationship building not only strengthens the organization but also empowers families and individuals to advocate for themselves within the mental health landscape. Through her work, Stacy is dedicated to transforming mental health services into more inclusive, responsive, and effective systems that truly meet the needs of those they serve.
