Sonya L. is a dynamic and inclusive experience design leader currently serving as the Lead Product Designer for the Sunflower UX Team. With a robust background in Retail, HealthTech, and EdTech since 2019, Sonya has dedicated her career to enhancing user experiences for diverse populations, ensuring that all individuals have access to vital services. One of her most notable achievements was her pivotal role in facilitating equitable access to COVID-19 vaccinations, where she collaborated closely with public health officials to design a user-friendly sign-up process that catered to various demographics.
In her current role, Sonya is focused on designing innovative EdTech products that empower healthcare professionals with user-centered skills. These products are specifically tailored to provide equitable lactation and public health support, particularly for underserved, rural, and LGBTQIA+ populations.
