In his current role, Sam is piloting a comprehensive technology infrastructure for OneGoal's District Partnership Model, with an ambitious goal of scaling from zero to 55 districts, impacting 300 school leaders and 1,000 students across five states. This initiative not only underscores his expertise in analytics but also highlights his strategic vision for leveraging data to drive educational outcomes. By product-managing the development of a robust data warehouse and ETL processes, Sam is laying the groundwork to support programming for over 20,000 students, ensuring that data flows seamlessly to inform decision-making at every level.
One of Sam's key projects includes the launch of the first-ever “self-join” feature within the analytics platform, which enhances the ability of educators to analyze student performance trends over time. His proficiency in tools like Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, and Python, combined with his analytical skills in Stata and SPSS, allows him to create sophisticated data visualizations and reports that are both insightful and user-friendly.
