Renee Samuels is a seasoned Special Educator with a wealth of experience that spans over two decades, currently serving as the Transition Coordinator at West Bloomfield High School since 2016. In this pivotal role, she focuses on facilitating smooth transitions for students with special needs, ensuring they are well-prepared for postsecondary education and the workforce. Renee's expertise in Explicit Instruction and Restorative Practices allows her to create tailored educational experiences that foster both academic and social-emotional growth. Prior to her current position, Renee honed her skills as a Resource Room Teacher at both Roosevelt Elementary and Abbott Middle School, where she developed and implemented individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other learning challenges.
