Peter Mann-King (he, they) serves as the inaugural Director of Clinical Quality and Safety at HealthPoint, a pivotal role that underscores their commitment to enhancing healthcare access for diverse populations. With a Master’s in Health Care Policy & Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s in Latin American Studies and Spanish from the University of Washington, Peter brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to their work. At HealthPoint, which operates 20 access points serving over 100,000 individuals, Peter leads a dedicated 14-person quality team, focusing on strategic leadership and team building to foster a culture of excellence in clinical care.
In their current role, Peter is instrumental in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives that align with HealthPoint’s mission of providing high-quality healthcare to underserved communities. They coach operational and clinical leaders in best practices for chronic care management and suicide prevention, ensuring that the organization meets the diverse needs of its patient population, including LGBTQ+ and migrant communities.
