Paulina Casey is a dynamic force in the animation industry, currently serving as an Adjunct Animation Professor at Brooklyn College's Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. With over a decade of experience as an animation director, Paulina brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to her teaching. At Bigstar, where she holds the position of Animation Director, she has honed her skills in animation direction, user experience (UX), and project management, working with high-profile clients and collaborating with talented teams to create compelling visual narratives.
In her role at Brooklyn College, Paulina teaches two core classes focused on compositing and hand-drawn animation techniques. She meticulously designs her syllabi to ensure that graduate students gain a robust understanding of animation workflows, blending technical proficiency with creative exploration. Her classes emphasize the importance of both traditional and digital animation methods, equipping students with essential skills in software such as After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
