Paul Posti serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Gulfstar Aviation, Inc., where he leverages over three decades of extensive experience in the aviation industry. A former U.S. Navy carrier pilot, Paul began his career flying the Saber 60 before transitioning to commercial aviation with Tri-City Pinky Brier. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish a successful charter business, operating two Turbo Commanders and a Citation 550, which laid the groundwork for his deep understanding of aviation management and charter operations.
Throughout his career, Paul has held pivotal roles with esteemed airlines including Eastern Airlines, Korean Airlines, and Suriname Airways, and has served as a Flight Safety International instructor on the MD80 in Long Beach and Zurich, Switzerland. His expertise in aviation consulting was further solidified when he founded Asian Aviation Consultants in Hong Kong, specializing in aircraft sales, corporate and private jet management, and comprehensive aviation consulting services. After successfully selling the company, Paul returned to the U.S. and launched two FAR 135 operations in California, both of which he later sold, demonstrating his acumen in navigating complex regulatory environments and operational challenges.
At Gulfstar Aviation, Paul is currently focused on offering Director of Operations services to FAR 91 private corporations and FAR 135 air carriers, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
