Paul Clark is a seasoned Engineering Project Manager at Jacobs, bringing an impressive eighteen years of experience in highway design engineering to the table. His extensive background encompasses both small and large consulting firms, where he has honed his skills in navigating the high-pressure demands and tight deadlines often associated with projects for Department of Transportation (DOT) and municipal clients. This diverse experience is complemented by an additional year of land surveying during his college years, which has provided him with a solid foundation in design engineering principles.
Currently, Paul serves as the Task Lead on the I-35E/I-635/Loop 12 Re-Evaluation Project, a critical initiative under the TxDOT General Engineering Consultant Contract for the Dallas District and Strategic Projects Office. In this role, he is responsible for the schematic design of a complex freeway corridor that features two multi-level interchanges, incorporating direct connectors, ramps, Managed Lanes, bridge layouts, braided ramps, and intricate intersections. His expertise in civil engineering is further enhanced by his proficiency in hydraulic modeling, stormwater management, and erosion control, making him a valuable asset to any project team.
As an Assistant Project Manager, Paul is instrumental in progressing various aspects of the project, ensuring that all engineering designs meet stringent regulatory standards while also addressing the needs of the community. His skills in project estimation and signing, combined with his deep understanding of highway systems, position him as a leader in the field. With a commitment to delivering high-quality results and a passion for innovative engineering solutions, Paul Clark continues to make significant contributions to the infrastructure landscape in Texas and beyond.
