Nikhil Ghode currently serves as a Principal Design Engineer at JMA Wireless, where he plays a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge 5G wireless systems. With over a decade of progressive experience in hardware design engineering, Nikhil has honed his expertise in high-speed board design and low-power battery-operated systems across various sectors, including telecommunications, medical devices, and consumer electronics. His leadership capabilities shine through as he effectively manages both on-site and virtual teams, including globally-dispersed consultants, ensuring seamless collaboration and project execution.
In his current role, Nikhil is responsible for designing baseband boards that serve as the backbone of JMA’s advanced 5G solutions. He has successfully led the architecture of the baseband Distributed Unit (DU) board, demonstrating his deep understanding of complex systems design. His technical prowess is evident in his work on various high-speed interfaces, including PCIe, DDR4, JESD204B, and 10G SFP+, which are critical for ensuring robust data transfer and system performance.
