Naveen Kapoor is a seasoned professional with over 29 years of extensive experience in the Power and Utilities sector, particularly within Emerging Markets. As the Team Leader for the NAPTIN Project, "Enhancing Vocational Training Delivery for the Nigerian Power Sector," Naveen plays a pivotal role in transforming the landscape of vocational training in Nigeria's energy sector. This project, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD) and the European Union, is instrumental in developing a robust framework for enhancing the skills and competencies of the workforce in the power industry.
Under Naveen's leadership, the project encompasses critical components such as product development, which includes the creation of comprehensive course curricula and training of trainers (ToTs). Additionally, he oversees infrastructure development, focusing on the establishment of the Abuja headquarters and eight regional training centers across Nigeria.
