Hasib Haasib is a seasoned E&I Engineer currently serving as the Manager at Jindal Shadeed Iron and Steel, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily shift activities at the state-of-the-art 2.4 MTPA Steel Melting Plant. With a rich background in the steel industry spanning both India and the GCC/MENA regions, Hasib has honed his expertise in various facets of steel production, particularly in Steel Melting Shop (SMS) and Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) operations, Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF), Vacuum Degassing (VD), and Continuous Casting Machine (CCM) processes.
Under Hasib's leadership, the facility has achieved remarkable milestones, including the lowest CO2 footprint of 0.78 tons per tonne of steel produced, showcasing his commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices. His technical acumen extends to electrical panel design and basic engineering, where he has been instrumental in the integration of advanced technologies supplied by industry leaders like Danieli Italia. This includes managing a 200-ton Melt Shop and an 8-strand Combi Caster with two Cooling Beds, ensuring seamless operations through Level-3 integration.
