Mary Fitzgibbons is an accomplished Ambulatory RN Care Coordinator at Lee Health, where she has been dedicated to enhancing patient care since joining the organization in August 2013. With a rich background in nursing and holistic health, Mary has successfully transitioned through various roles, beginning her journey as a Case Manager in Home Health and later serving as a Care Transition Coach. Her current position at LPG Internal Medicine Bass Rd, which she assumed in January 2017, allows her to leverage her extensive expertise in online coaching, stress management, and energy healing to empower patients on their healthcare journeys.
In her role, Mary focuses on coordinating care for patients with complex health needs, ensuring they receive comprehensive support throughout their treatment processes. She employs her coaching skills to guide individuals in managing their health conditions, particularly in cardiac care, while fostering a holistic approach to healing. By integrating techniques such as Reiki and stress management strategies, Mary helps patients navigate the often-challenging landscape of healthcare, encouraging them to take an active role in their recovery.
Key projects that Mary has spearheaded include developing patient education programs that emphasize self-management and wellness, as well as implementing innovative care coordination strategies that enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers. Her commitment to patient-centered care and her ability to build meaningful relationships with those she serves have made her an invaluable asset to the Lee Health team. As she continues to explore the intersection of nursing and holistic practices, Mary remains dedicated to helping patients write their own stories of health and resilience.
