With a robust background in overseeing daily operations and financial functions, Mark leads a dedicated team comprising two general accountants, two payroll accountants, a facilities manager, seven facilities specialists, and a school receptionist. Together, they support a diverse workforce of 164 employees on the main campus and an additional 81 staff members spread across Iowa.
In his role, Mark is responsible for managing a substantial annual budget of $22 million, ensuring that financial resources are allocated strategically to support the school’s mission and objectives. His expertise in preparing annual GAAP reports and summarizing multi-million dollar budgets is instrumental in maintaining transparency and accountability within the organization. Mark's strategic planning skills enable him to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, fostering a positive vision that aligns with the school’s goals.
