Louisa Jones is a dedicated Choir Director at Thornton High School, where she brings her passion for music and education to life. With a Bachelor of Music Education (vocal emphasis) from the University of Northern Colorado, Louisa has cultivated a rich understanding of various musical genres, including choral music, jazz, and opera. Her current role encompasses teaching a diverse range of choirs, including a Women's Choir, Men's Choir, and Mixed Choir, as well as a Music Fundamentals class. This multifaceted approach not only allows her to cater to the unique interests and abilities of her students but also fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment where all voices can shine.
Louisa is deeply committed to enhancing her students' musical skills through innovative teaching methods that incorporate music theory, vocal techniques, and music technology.
