Leslie Gillett serves as the Director of Graduate Student Services at Georgia State University, where she plays a pivotal role in enhancing the graduate experience within the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD). With a robust background in higher education, Leslie is adept at navigating the complexities of graduate admissions, overseeing the application processes for over 88 diverse graduate programs. Her expertise in enrollment management and educational technology allows her to implement innovative recruitment strategies that effectively increase application rates and attract a diverse pool of candidates.
In her current role, Leslie collaborates closely with the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies & Research, providing essential support in strategic planning and program development. She leads a dedicated team of three Advisor I’s, ensuring that they deliver exceptional academic advising and support services to prospective and current graduate students. Leslie’s commitment to student affairs is evident in her proactive approach to community outreach and event planning, which fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for all graduate students.
