Lee Rickles serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing digital transformation within the healthcare sector. With over three decades of experience in transformation and programme management, Lee has successfully navigated the complexities of both military and healthcare projects. His early career was dedicated to UK military aircraft initiatives, but for the past two decades, he has channeled his expertise into the healthcare domain, focusing on enhancing patient care through innovative technology solutions.
Currently, Lee is leading the delivery of the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record technology, known as interweave, which integrates six distinct care systems to streamline patient information sharing and improve care coordination across the region. This initiative is crucial for fostering collaborative healthcare delivery and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. In addition, he is directing the implementation of the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust Digital Plan, which encompasses the deployment of clinical systems, business intelligence, and information technology infrastructure.
