Ken Wee is a seasoned professional in the field of human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Regional HR Business Partner at AIA. With over 30 years of diverse experience spanning country, regional, and global roles, Ken has honed a strategic approach to HR that emphasizes the critical interplay between leadership, organizational culture, and business strategy. His unique background as a former Naval Surface Warfare Officer, coupled with his extensive experience as a management consultant, equips him with a robust understanding of the dynamics that drive high-performing teams and organizations.
Since July 2022, Ken has been instrumental in overseeing HR initiatives for Group Healthcare and Group Marketing, where he leverages his expertise in succession planning, organizational development, and leadership development to enhance workforce capabilities and align HR strategies with business objectives. Prior to this, from June 2021 to July 2022, he played a pivotal role in managing HR functions across multiple markets, including Thailand, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, and New Zealand, as well as Group Distribution channels such as Agency, Partnership, Corporate Solutions, and Digital Platform Partnerships.
