Kaylah Smith is a dedicated and experienced educator currently serving as the Assistant Track and Field Coach at Old Mill High School, where she specializes in coaching sprinters and hurdlers. With a solid foundation in sports coaching, Kaylah has made significant contributions to the track and field program, notably leading the girls' team to remarkable achievements, including the 2016 Girls 4A Anne Arundel County Championship and the 2016 Girls 4A East Regional Championship. Her expertise in athletics is complemented by her academic background, holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Political Science and Sociology, as well as a Minor in Coaching from Frostburg State University.
In her role, Kaylah leverages her strong leadership and management skills to foster a positive and competitive environment for her athletes. She utilizes her proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel to analyze performance metrics, track athlete progress, and develop tailored training programs that enhance individual and team performance.
