In his current role, Kapil leads the Security Shared Services group, which plays a pivotal role in fortifying TIAA's digital infrastructure. His team focuses on two critical areas: API Security and CyberAI. Under his guidance, the API Security initiative is dedicated to embedding security-by-design principles into client-facing applications and business APIs. This includes the development of robust security libraries and APIs that ensure secure customer and service authentication, as well as the protection of microservices within a service mesh architecture.
