Julien CENDRE currently serves as the Tramway Maintenance Director at RATP Dev in Casablanca, a role he has embraced since February 2021. With a robust background in the transportation sector, having honed his expertise at industry giants like ALSTOM and Bombardier Transportation, Julien brings a wealth of knowledge to his current position. His experience is particularly valuable in overseeing the maintenance of the Casablanca Tramway, which encompasses not only the rolling stock but also critical infrastructure elements such as tracks, signalling systems, catenary, energy supply, and ticketing operations.
In his role, Julien is responsible for the maintenance of two key tram lines featuring ALSTOM Citadis vehicles—Line T1, which operates 74 units, and Line T2, consisting of 50 units. This extensive network includes 70 stations and spans 47 kilometers of track, presenting both challenges and opportunities for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Leading a dedicated team of 122 professionals, Julien is committed to implementing best practices in engineering management and change management, ensuring the reliability and safety of the tramway system.
