Jessica Grant, as the Founder and Principal of Dramarama Stage School Limited, has dedicated over three decades to nurturing young talent in the performing arts. Since her inaugural holiday drama courses in March 1987, which began with just 25 children at King Alfred School, Jessica has transformed her passion for drama into a thriving educational institution. Under her leadership, Dramarama Stage School has expanded significantly, now serving the North West London community with a diverse range of performing arts classes tailored for children aged 3 to 15 years.
Jessica's expertise spans various disciplines, including drama, street dance, and musical theatre, allowing her to create a comprehensive curriculum that engages students and fosters their creativity. The school offers after-school and Saturday morning classes, as well as specialized holiday programs during half-term, Easter, summer, and Christmas. This commitment to providing accessible and enriching performing arts education has resulted in a vibrant learning environment where children can explore their artistic potential.
Key projects under Jessica’s guidance include the development of innovative workshops that integrate performance skills with personal development, helping students build confidence and teamwork abilities. Her management skills are evident in the seamless operation of the school, which has grown to accommodate waiting lists and expanded facilities, including partnerships with local churches for additional space. Jessica’s vision for Dramarama Stage School is not just to teach performing arts but to cultivate a community where young performers can thrive, express themselves, and prepare for future endeavors in the arts. As she celebrates the school's 30th academic year, Jessica remains committed to inspiring the next generation of performers, ensuring that Dramarama Stage School continues to be a beacon of creativity and excellence in the performing arts landscape.
