Jennifer Molina is a trailblazer in the field of perinatal health, serving as the Founder of United in Birth LLC, a pioneering organization dedicated to transforming the reproductive landscape for LGBTQIA+ families in New York City. With a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by Queer and Trans families—particularly those from Black, Indigenous, and Latino backgrounds—Jennifer established United in Birth in 2020 to fill critical gaps in support and care. Under her leadership, the organization has developed comprehensive programs that guide parents through various reproductive life transitions, including pregnancy, birth, postpartum experiences, and even loss.
Jennifer’s expertise in public health and community outreach is instrumental in her role, where she employs her skills in consulting and facilitation to create inclusive environments that prioritize the needs of marginalized families. She is passionate about eliminating the discrimination and isolation often experienced in healthcare settings, advocating for equitable access to resources and support. Key projects led by Jennifer include workshops and support groups that foster community connection and resilience among LGBTQIA+ parents, as well as public speaking engagements aimed at raising awareness about the disparities in perinatal health.
With a strong emphasis on active listening and program evaluation, Jennifer ensures that United in Birth continually adapts to the evolving needs of the community it serves. Her commitment to leadership and advocacy not only empowers families but also contributes to a broader movement for social justice within the healthcare system. Through her work, Jennifer Molina is not just changing lives; she is reshaping the narrative around family-building for LGBTQIA+ individuals in NYC and beyond.
