Hamid Bootimar serves as the Lead Structural Engineer at WSP in Canada, where he leverages his extensive experience in Structural Engineering and Construction Management to drive innovative solutions across a variety of high-profile projects. With a robust background in multi-disciplinary consultant engineering and EPC contracting, Hamid has developed a keen expertise in the fields of Industrial, Transit, and Building engineering. His current role places him at the forefront of transformative infrastructure projects, including the Ontario Line's Elevated Guideway Stations and the ONCorr, ONxpree Project, which involves the development of new GO stations for Metrolinx in Toronto. As the Design Lead for these progressive design-build initiatives, Hamid is instrumental in executing project controls that streamline design processes and enhance overall efficiency.
In addition to his work on the Ontario Line, Hamid is also the Lead Structural Engineer for the Union and Queens Quay Underground LRT Station, part of the TTC Waterfront East LRT project.
