Hadi Parsamehr serves as a Principal Engineer at Western Digital, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing the metrology group's initiatives within the clean room environment. With a robust academic foundation, including a PhD in Materials Science, and over a decade of diverse engineering experience, Hadi is at the forefront of innovations in wafer process development. His expertise encompasses critical areas such as data analysis, failure analysis, and thin film deposition techniques, including Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), which are essential for the production of high-performance semiconductor devices.
In his current position, Hadi leads the STEM team responsible for the operations of 6-inch and 8-inch wafers, collaborating closely with integration engineers to develop MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) devices that are integral to the functionality of reader and writer heads.
