Gregory Arnold serves as the Principal Dimensional Control Engineer at GE Appliances, a Haier company, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of dimensional control practices within the product development lifecycle. Collaborating closely with the Director of Dimensional Control, Gregory is instrumental in integrating these practices into the New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, ensuring that potential variations are identified and managed from the earliest stages of design through to manufacturing and assembly. His expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) allows him to coach and mentor fellow engineers, providing them with the technical direction needed to understand and apply these critical concepts effectively.
In his role, Gregory actively supports product design reviews by assessing dimensional control schemes that harmonize product design requirements with craftsmanship, manufacturing processes, and inspection protocols.
