Fabian Wany is making significant strides in the renewable energy sector as the Director of EPC Sales at greentech, a leading photovoltaic specialist based in Hamburg. Since joining the company in 2022, Fabian has leveraged his extensive expertise in photovoltaics and project management to enhance the company's EPC sales activities, particularly focusing on mid-scale solar projects. His transition in 2023 to oversee the realization of in-house developed solar farms marks a pivotal shift in his career, allowing him to manage projects from the late-stage development phase all the way to commercial operation date (COD).
In his current role, Fabian is tasked with delivering greentech's ambitious pipeline of solar projects, ensuring that each initiative progresses smoothly from ready-to-build status to energization and eventual takeover. His proficiency in international sales and strategic negotiations has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of the solar energy market, enabling greentech to expand its footprint in a competitive landscape. With a strong foundation in operations and maintenance (O&M) as well as a keen understanding of energy regulations, Fabian is well-equipped to tackle the challenges that arise in the fast-evolving renewable energy sector.
Before joining greentech, Fabian honed his skills at solar development platforms like Cero, where he gained invaluable experience in project management and energy strategy. This background has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the solar value chain, positioning him as a key player in driving sustainable energy solutions. As he continues to lead greentech's innovative projects, Fabian remains committed to advancing the adoption of solar energy, contributing to a greener future for generations to come.
