Elizabeth Fedak is currently a Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Utah, where she is not only advancing her own academic journey but also shaping the learning experiences of undergraduate students. With a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University, Elizabeth is now pursuing her Ph.D. with a focus on complex mathematical models that bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical applications. Her research delves into ordinary differential equations (ODEs) that describe tumor-immune system interactions and cellular regulatory networks, showcasing her expertise in dynamical systems analysis and model-building.
In her role as an instructor, Elizabeth teaches foundational courses such as Calculus I and introductory ODEs and Linear Algebra. She employs innovative teaching methods to foster a deep understanding of mathematical concepts among her students, emphasizing the importance of mathematics in real-world applications.
