Don Frye serves as a Project Manager and Principal Scientist at Entegris, where he plays a pivotal role in the development and commercialization of advanced cleaning solutions for Chemical Mechanical Polishing (CMP) applications. With a rich background in materials science and a focus on semiconductor technologies, Don has successfully spearheaded numerous key projects that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of post-CMP cleaning processes. His expertise spans a variety of critical areas, including 3D packaging, wafer-level packaging (WLP), copper pillar technologies, and dielectric films, making him a valuable asset in the fast-evolving semiconductor landscape.
Since joining Entegris in 2014, Don has demonstrated exceptional leadership as he transitioned from a Senior Scientist to a Principal Scientist and Team Lead, managing the global PCMP development team based in Danbury.
