Dione Parker serves as a Senior Teacher at IES College, where she passionately leads Year 11 and 12 classes within the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, as well as Year 10 English under the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA). With over twenty-five years of diverse teaching experience spanning tertiary, secondary, and primary education, Dione has honed her expertise in English, Literature, Environmental Studies, and Humanities/Social Science, with specializations in History and Geography. Her commitment to fostering strong relationships with students, colleagues, families, and the wider community is a cornerstone of her educational philosophy, enabling her to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
At IES College, Dione is currently spearheading key projects that enhance student engagement and academic performance in Environmental Systems and Societies and Language and Literature.
