Since December 2019, he has been a key member of the management committee, leading the "Maintain" department, which encompasses two critical directions: the Direction of Maintenance (DEN) and the Direction of Management and Inspections (DGI). Under his leadership, the department is focused on optimizing road maintenance operations and enhancing the overall management of the city’s transportation infrastructure.
With a solid foundation as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager, Dimitri brings extensive expertise in traffic and transport engineering, intelligent transport systems, and the integration of autonomous vehicles into urban settings. His proficiency in traffic information and management, particularly through the use of advanced technologies such as floating car data, positions him at the forefront of innovative solutions for urban mobility challenges. Dimitri’s commitment to improving road conditions and ensuring safety is evident in key projects that aim to modernize Brussels' transport infrastructure, making it more efficient and sustainable.
