Delma Madrigal serves as the Economic Equity Director and Bank On Fellow at Prosperity Works, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing financial stability for unbanked and underbanked communities. In her current position, Delma is leading the strategy and operations for the establishment of the second Bank On coalition, Bank On New Mexico, which launched in April 2024. This initiative is part of a broader effort supported by the Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund, aimed at creating pathways to financial inclusion for families and individuals who have historically been marginalized in the banking system.
Delma’s expertise in project management is complemented by her adeptness at adapting methodologies to meet the unique demands of various projects and grant deliverables. She understands the relational complexities inherent in coalition building, engaging effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders, including community members, non-profit organizations, government entities, and grantors.
