With a robust background as an Operational and System Safety expert, Angela oversees the Solid Rocket Boosters and Space Shuttle during their Launch and Recovery operations, ensuring that all procedures align with stringent safety protocols. Her expertise extends to providing oversight for hazardous operations during processing, refurbishment, and disassembly activities, where she meticulously conducts Safety and Risk Assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies.
In her current role, Angela manages the ESH program for the Payload Launch Site Support Services at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) and Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) in California. She is instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, actively participating in safety committee meetings to drive initiatives that enhance operational safety and environmental stewardship.
