With over two decades of experience in safety management, Ken has honed his expertise in healthcare compliance, particularly in managing The Joint Commission’s (TJC) Environment of Care (EC), Emergency Management (EM), and Life Safety (LS) standards. His role encompasses overseeing a dedicated team of 31 full-time employees and 2 interns, all working collaboratively across a diverse range of EH&S programs that serve both UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial Medical Center.
One of Ken's notable achievements includes the successful management of the daily COVID surveillance testing program, which expanded his team by an additional 8 FTEs.
