Joanne Talley serves as the Diabetes Education Program Quality Coordinator at Southeast Medical Group, formerly known as Southeastern Primary Care Specialists, where she plays a pivotal role in enhancing patient care and outcomes for individuals living with diabetes. In her current position, Joanne oversees the American Diabetes Association (ADA) Recognized Diabetes Education Program, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness. Her expertise in diabetes education is complemented by her strong background in medical nutrition therapy, where she conducts both individual and group sessions tailored to the unique needs of patients.
Joanne’s commitment to continuous quality improvement is evident in her proactive approach to developing and updating patient education materials, which are crucial for empowering patients to manage their diabetes effectively.
