As the Executive Director of Empowerment Ink, Susan Stimson leverages her extensive background in social services and health and wellness to drive impactful change within the community. With a Master’s degree in Human Services and specialized training in addiction counseling, she focuses on empowering women who are navigating the complexities of trauma and substance use. Her role involves not only overseeing the organization’s strategic initiatives but also actively engaging in hands-on recovery coaching and peer support for individuals affected by human trafficking, chronic mental health issues, and substance use disorders.
Susan is dedicated to fostering a client-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives tailored support that promotes self-empowerment and resilience. By managing a diverse caseload, she provides intensive peer support and relapse intervention, helping clients to set and achieve their personal goals.
