Terry Burns currently serves as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Esri, where he leverages his extensive background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to drive innovative solutions for clients across various sectors. Prior to joining Esri, Terry spent six years as a Software Developer and Senior GIS Analyst with the Department of Homeland Security/Federal Emergency Management Agency, where he contributed significantly to disaster management initiatives. His work involved creating sophisticated GIS applications that supported emergency response efforts, showcasing his ability to translate intricate technical requirements into practical solutions.
