Joep Elemans serves as the Programme Manager for Talent Development at STZ (Samenwerkende Topklinische Ziekenhuizen), where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare talent across the Netherlands. With a passion for exploration, learning, and development, Joep is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to reach their full potential. His expertise lies in crafting innovative Talent Development Programs that not only enhance individual capabilities but also drive organizational success.
In his current role, Joep is instrumental in guiding STZ through a significant scale-up phase, expanding from 5 to 16 full-time employees within just 18 months. This growth is crucial as STZ supports 27 large Dutch hospitals, collectively employing 115,000 professionals. Joep’s internal responsibilities include structuring accounting and ICT processes, ensuring that the organization operates efficiently as it scales. Externally, he is focused on developing, coordinating, and implementing new Talent Management and educational initiatives. Notable projects include the establishment of a comprehensive Traineeship for doctors and the development of the STZ Academy, which aims to cultivate the next generation of healthcare leaders.
