Peggy Nesbitt serves as the Director of Arts Information and Outreach at the University of Montana’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA), where she leverages her extensive background in higher education administration to enhance the visibility and impact of the arts within the community. With an MBA from the University of Montana and numerous certifications in employee performance management, diversity and inclusion, and strategic leadership, Peggy is uniquely positioned to drive initiatives that foster collaboration and engagement among students, faculty, and stakeholders.
In her current role, Peggy is instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that elevate the CVPA’s profile. She oversees fiscal management and budget oversight, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support key projects and initiatives. As the lead project manager for the CVPA’s signature fundraiser, Odyssey of the Stars, Peggy successfully increased revenue while simultaneously decreasing expenses, showcasing her adeptness in program management and strategic planning.
