Kieran Duffy serves as the Assistant Director of Residential Life at the University of New Hampshire, where he leverages his extensive experience in higher education administration to enhance the residential experience for students. With a strong background in both K-12 education and higher education, Kieran has developed a comprehensive understanding of student development and engagement, making him an invaluable asset to the university community. In his current role, he supervises six full-time, live-in residence hall directors, ensuring that they are equipped with the tools and training necessary to foster a positive living environment for students.
Kieran is instrumental in developing and implementing training programs for a diverse team of 22 full-time professional staff and 144 paraprofessional student staff. His expertise in assessment and curriculum design allows him to create impactful training modules that focus on critical areas such as student leadership development and community engagement. Additionally, Kieran chairs several key committees, including the Assessment Committee and the Technology & Design Team, where he utilizes his skills in data analysis and technology to drive initiatives that enhance the residential life experience.
His proficiency with various software tools, including Adirondack's The Housing Director (THD) and StarRez, enables him to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency within the department.
