Anthony Rice is a dedicated and enthusiastic student at the University of New Mexico, where he is pursuing dual majors in history and political science. His academic pursuits are complemented by his active involvement in the Army ROTC program, where he is on track to commission as a 2nd Lieutenant in 2025. As a cadet, Anthony engages in rigorous training and leadership development, attending monthly drill meets with fellow cadets who are also enlisted in the National Guard. This experience not only hones his military skills but also fosters a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork among peers.
In addition to his ROTC commitments, Anthony has participated in the Recruit Sustainment Program, where he has gained valuable insights into military operations and the importance of preparedness. His involvement in these programs has equipped him with essential skills in team leadership, event management, and community relations, all of which are vital for a successful career in the military and beyond.
