Marie Gunter is a distinguished leader in the sustainability and climate justice arena, currently serving as the Founder and Principal of A Just Practice. With over a decade of experience, Marie has honed her expertise in advancing equitable energy solutions and environmental initiatives that prioritize social justice. Her role encompasses a multifaceted approach to emerging leadership development and business consulting, where she empowers individuals and organizations to embrace sustainability as a core value.
At A Just Practice, Marie spearheads key projects that focus on climate change consulting, policy advocacy, and equity and inclusion facilitation. One of her notable initiatives is the Emerging Leadership Lab, where she successfully led a 12-month M.I.T. uLab team, fostering innovative thinking and collaborative problem-solving among diverse participants.
