Hosoon Ku serves as the Director of Quality Assurance at NextNav LLC, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the quality landscape of the company's innovative products. With a strong focus on developing a robust test automation strategy, Hosoon leads the SVT/QA organization in establishing comprehensive processes and systems that ensure all software and systems meet stringent quality requirements. His expertise in IP, SNMP, QoS, and network performance is instrumental in delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
In his current role, Hosoon is responsible for building and managing the QA and Field Test organization, where he establishes critical quality processes and enforces quality gates for all NextNav products. This meticulous approach guarantees that every product is thoroughly vetted before it reaches NextNav Operations and its partners or customers. By collaborating closely with engineering teams, he ensures a cohesive end-to-end quality experience, overseeing integration, function, and system testing for NextNav's Network Management System (NMS) products, which encompass Radio/Core and IP Network components.
His extensive background in wireless networking, microwave technology, and RF testing further enhances his ability to lead various levels of testing, from unit and module/function tests to system integration and end-to-end/network level tests, including field testing.
