Jerome Amiotte serves as a Principal Reservoir Geoscientist at Chevron, where he leverages his extensive background in development geology to drive innovative solutions across the company’s diverse asset portfolio. With a wealth of experience in both onshore and offshore environments, Jerome has honed his expertise in reservoir modeling and development geology, focusing on clastic and carbonate systems as well as fractured reservoirs. His work spans various field development stages, including appraisal, greenfield, and brownfield projects, across multiple countries such as the USA, Australia, and Kazakhstan.
In his current role, Jerome is pivotal in providing expert reservoir modeling services that support Chevron’s Business Units globally. He is responsible for the integration of geological, petrophysical, geophysical, and engineering data to develop and deploy cutting-edge technologies and workflows that address key business challenges. His proficiency in software development, particularly with tools like GOCAD, enhances his ability to conduct reservoir characterization, well planning, and geostatistical analyses.
