Freddy Neo currently serves as the General Manager of Operations at Sembawang Shipyard, where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project management of specialized marine and offshore new builds, as well as conversion projects. With a robust background in shipbuilding and marine engineering, Freddy specializes in the management of complex offshore vessels, including jack-up rigs, dynamic positioning (DP) offshore vessels, heavy lift ships, and afloat repair vessels. His expertise extends to the meticulous oversight of operational activities within the shipyard, ensuring that production systems and processes are optimized for efficiency and quality.
Freddy is also instrumental in the development and execution of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) systems, which are critical in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance within the shipyard. His leadership extends to the management of Sembawang Shipyard’s subsidiary, SES, which focuses on anchorage and fabrication services, further enhancing the shipyard's capabilities in the maritime sector.
